Raj&Pablo established their famour Bollywood Nights clubbing night at London's elegant Cobden Club in 1998, the first of its kind in London, where they also DJed, spinning the best of Bollywood, pop R&B, Arabic, disco and club classics in plush surroundings to packed crowds every month.
The legendary club night was described by the London Evening Standard as, "the HOTTEST night in town", with IndianToday commenting, "the British crowds get grooving at Raj&Pablo's jam-packed nights", and GQ credited Raj&Pablo with single-handedly, "bringing Bollywood to London," saying "Bollywood movies are not such a rarity in London clubs lately, it seems. That's thanks, in no small part to Raj Dhanda and Pablo Sat-Bhambra, a British-born duo who have helped stoke the excitement of Indians abroad - and those with no connection to the motherland - towards the glitz and glamour surrounding the country's biggest films."
The famous club night has gone on to be held at multiple venues, including London's Savoy hotel, which Variety magazine called, "a jolly Bolly bash at the Savoy", and even at an ice-skating themed event - Bollywood on Ice with Raj and Pablo - at Somerset House.
In 2002, Selfridges dedicated a whole month to all things Bollywood, with Raj&Pablo at the forefront, hosting their own day in the iconic departmet store, the Raj&Pablo Day @ Selfridges. complete with live events, Raj&Pablo's Bollywood Nights @ Selfridges.
Raj&Pablo hosted a panel event at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 in which Bollywood as a global phenomenon was discussed by a distinguished panel and reported on Digital Spy as an event that would, "discuss the importance of Indian cinema at an international level", under the title, At Cannes to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinematography.
Raj&Pable have hosted numerous panel events with leading figures under the Raj&Pablo Talkback series, held alongside the Cobden Club events. The duo also hosted and conducted interviews at Bollywood-themed events, including the London premiere of the movie Chak De! India, the Red Cross Gala, attended by Queen Elizabeth II, and the Taj Group Centenary event held at London's Victoria & Albert Museum.
